The project is carried out in the city of Sant Adrià dels Besòs, which was before considered as the outskirts of Barcelona and now claims to be an improved area related to the Besòs river, a space expected to recover the connection with its surroundings, with the Besòs river mouth and the zone where the three chimneys of the old thermal power plant are located.

The plan will be positioned at the Avinguda de la Platja, in the neighbourhood of Sant Joan Baptista, where the low residential density and the disproportionate industrial area make life in the neighbourhood difficult. moreover, the presence of train tracks defines a rupture and makes difficult to establish a consistent relationship between the city and the sea.

The train station of Sant Adrià dels Besòs and the tram service, at both sides of the train tracks, are both situated in the area, as well as the neighbourhood bus service.
The project focuses on analyzing and valuing the pre-existing aspects of the place, in order to develop and improve the communication with its immediate and metropolitan environment.

El proyecto se desarrolla en la ciudad de Sant Adrià del Besòs, en lo que antes se consideraba la periferia de Barcelona y ahora pretende ser un espacio mejorado

y relacionado con el rio Besòs, una zona que pretende mejorar la relación con su entorno próximo, con la desembocadura del rio Besòs y la zona de las tres chimeneas de la antigua central térmica.

Nos colocamos en la zona de la Avinguda de la Platja, en el barrio de Sant Joan Baptista, dónde la poca densidad residencial y la desproporcionada área industrial dificulta la vida en el barrio. Sumado a todo esto tenemos la fractura provocada por las vías de tren que entorpece la relación de la ciudad con el mar.

En la zona se sitúa la estación de tren de Sant Adrià de Besòs y el servicio del tranvía a ambas partes de las vías de tren, así como el servicio de buses del barrio.

el proyecto se centra en analizar y poner en valor las preexistencias, relacionándolas y potenciando la comunicación con su entorno próximo y metropolitano.
